Barron Collier Cos. sues freeze-devastated grower for nonpayment
Farmer Mike’s had a land lease to grow on 542 acres at Ave Maria in eastern Collier County, court records show. The lease ran from July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010. Barron Collier is owed $72,400 in rent, plus interest, according to the lawsuit.
