About 800 families came to the first-ever Summer Camp Expo held Saturday by the Collier County Parks and Recreation Department. Hundreds of people walked three miles through Old Naples on Saturday morning, raising $120,000 to treat and help those with mental illness. The National Alliance on Mental Illness held its eighth annual fundraising walk. Some of the people’s T-shirts worked at NAMI’s mission of removing the stigma from mental illness. “Normal is a setting on your dryer,” proclaimed one. “Out of My Mind – Back in Five Minutes,” read another.
