Replica Nina & Pinta make pilgrimage to Naples’ shore
A Columbus replica ship approaches Naples from the North in the Gulf on Wednesday afternoon. Replicas of the Nina and Pinta were headed to dock at Tin City in Naples for a couple days as part of an enhanced sailing museum. Starting April 1, the public can take self-guided tours of the ships, $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for children.

Our World: Stepping outside for a pre-game ritual
They are competitive in everything they do, even warming up before a game. Florida Everblades players arrive to Germain Arena in suits, most strolling into the locker room talking on their cell phone. They enter through a non-descript blue-green door, disappearing into the shadows of the arena. But an hour before they step onto the ice, some come back outside, with a soccer ball.

Our World: The desire to keep playing
The chorus of children at Veterans Park roller hockey rink echoes around the boards as the kids, now finished with conditioning drills, take to the rink in their sneakers, still wanting to get in one last game before camp is over. Some are still in their hockey pants, others have changed into shorts. They stand in an unorganized line with their hockey sticks in various ready positions. They are exhausted. But they are ready to keep playing.
